Eyeglass Frames for Women — 800+ Optician-Checked Styles
Frequently Asked Questions About Eyeglass Frames For Women
Can I buy eyeglass frames without lenses?
Yes. Choose 'Frame Only' as your prescription type at checkout and the frame ships without corrective lenses. Many customers do this to reuse existing lenses through a local optician, or to lock in a sale price before their next eye exam.
How do I find my frame size?
Check the inside of a pair that fits you well — most temples are printed with three numbers, like 52-18-140. That's lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. Match those numbers against the measurements listed on every Aoolia frame page, or use the size filter (Extra-Small through Extra-Large) as a starting point.
Which frames stay up on a low nose bridge?
Look for frames with adjustable nose pads — we carry 326 women's styles with them. The pads can be bent inward to grip a flatter or lower bridge, which fixed acetate bridges can't do. Metal and titanium frames are the most common carriers of adjustable pads.
What is the lightest frame material for women's glasses?
Titanium is the lightest and strongest material in our collection, followed closely by TR90, a flexible thermoplastic. If you get pressure marks on your nose or behind your ears by the end of the day, either material is a meaningful upgrade over standard acetate.
Do these frames come in styles for women over 50?
The collection isn't segmented by age, but three features matter most to our older customers: adjustable nose pads for changing skin and fit, spring hinges that tolerate one-handed removal, and progressive lens support — which nearly all of our women's frames offer.
